Geneva Airport France

Geneva International Airport (GVA), also known as Cointrin Airport, is an airport France shares with Switzerland. The airport is 4 km from the Geneva city centre. Weekends at the airport during the winter months are busy with travellers heading to ski resorts due to the great location of the airport.

To get to the car hire desks from the French side:

  1. After crossing passport control and collecting your baggage
  2. Go throught to the swiss arrivals hall;
  3. Go left again and up the escalators to departures;
  4. Then follow the signs to FRANCE
  5. You will need to pass through passport control back into France
  6. Once through you should see the check in desks along side the car rental desks
